to plan or not to plan?

my friend lauren has officially decided she can meet me in thailand over memorial day weekend. i am pretty psyched. i am totally new to the blog world, but figured this would be the best time to get into it. will write more when i have a clue as to what our trip will look like or what we are thinking about doing....right now chiang mai and ko tao are our top 2 picks. my cousin/godmother will be in syria while i am there, and i think she will be joining us. just read vagabonding and that book coupled with just buying my plane ticket to bangkok has shifted all of the energy in my life...in a good way...i can't wait...
